Screaming Butterfly Productions started out in the summer of 2002, in Enid, Oklahoma, as an umbrella for the television projects created by Diana (Kettle) Lang and Tim (Eck) Lang. We started out doing public access TV shows featuring musicians, importing documentaries and music videos by other artists, and creating our own documentaries and music videos.
For the name Screaming Butterfly Productions, we took inspiration from the Doors song, “When the music’s over” where Jim sings “I want to hear the scream of the butterfly.” Just like the butterfly, our projects continue to evolve.
